Former Griffiss Air Force Base: Jet fuel facility decommissioning

Demolished pump house and OCB transformer. Removed, cleaned and disposed of four 50,000-gal jet fuel underground storage tanks.

Removed and disposed of 20,000 gal of jet fuel on static water level, transferred impacted liquids into Frac tanks for settling and characterization.

Disposed of water into sanitary system, disposed of fuel.

Cleaned approximately 3,000 linear feet of jet fuel piping, removed and disposed of 25,000 gal of 150-propyl alcohol.

Restored site including concrete runway.
